To celebrate the Black Friday calendar month, we wanted to give you something exciting!

When you purchase two or more packs of Synths 2 at our Ruka Braid Bar in Selfridges, London, you’ll receive the opportunity to book a complimentary installation — our way of saying thank you for being part of the Ruka community.

Here’s what to know before booking

• A consultation is required at the time of purchase to ensure suitability, texture matching, and your desired style.

• Availability cannot be guaranteed without a confirmed booking. This is subject to stock and stylist availability. Walk-ins may not always be possible.

• Please note that the Jayda Wayda Fulani Braids and Kinky Twists are not included in this promotion.

• To qualify, Synths 2 must be purchased directly from the Selfridges stand.

• If your preferred Synths 2 product is out of stock, the Selfridges team will issue an invoice so you can complete your purchase immediately and secure your booking.

• A £20 deposit is required to confirm your appointment. This will be refunded once your installation is complete, but it is non-refundable in the event of a no-show.

• We understand plans can change — we’ll always do our best to accommodate rescheduling where availability allows.

• By completing your consultation, you consent to the possibility of being included in Ruka content (e.g. behind-the-scenes footage, photography, or social media).

  • Our stylists will always ensure you feel comfortable and confident at all times.

• Offer valid until the end of November 2025, while slots last and subject to stylist availability.
