Do the hair perfumes have different scents?

We currently offer three beautifully crafted scents in our S/cent Collection:

•   Coconilla – A warm, sweet blend of coconut, soft musk, and vanilla.

•   Dakar Night – A warm, deep and sensual scent with rich, evening-inspired notes.

•   Joburg Spritz – Think sun-drenched gardens, juicy pear, and fresh florals.


How do I best use the hair perfume?

•    As an everyday refreshing spray

•    Post gym

•    In-between washes

•    To refresh protective styles such as braids

Does the hair perfume contain silicones?

No, but it contains a Silicone-Panthenol derivative.



Why does the hair perfume contain alcohol?

Our formulation is unique in its composition. It’s a hydroalcoholic solution, meaning that its base contains water and alcohol at carefully selected levels. The alcohol is essential to carry the fragrance and evaporates quickly after it’s sprayed. The water carries the moisturising ingredients and provides hydration to your hair!



Is the hair perfume an Eau De Toilette or Eau De Parfum?

These classifications traditionally  used for 'regular' perfumes and are not completely applicable to this product. Think of our hair perfume as a moisturising and softening scented hair mist!



Can the hair perfume be used on the body?

We recommend to use the product in your hair only as it’s for this function that the products has been tested to be safe and effective.



Does the hair perfume contain parabens?

No, it is self-preserving due to its alcohol content.
Natural parabens are safe and efficacious in cosmetic products and are used to protect the consumer from having mould and bacteria in the formulation.
