'Grey’ may be a singular word, but it’s not a singular colour...

What are GreyScale extensions made with?
All GreyScale extensions are made with 100% virgin remy human hair that has been lifted to create white/grey hair. That hair is then mixed with varying amounts of natural 1b hair to create the three different gradients of grey within the range.

How much grey is in each shade/gradient?
The GreyScale range includes a light grey/white coloured gradient (salt) - with 90% grey hair to 10% black, a medium grey coloured gradient (steel) - with 75% grey hair to 25% black, and a dark grey gradient (smoke)- with only 40% grey hair.

What textures are GreyScale products available in?

The first generation of GreyScale is available in 4 of our cult favourite textures, catering to different hair types across the spectrum - Body Wave, Press’d, Spring Fling, and Four Ayye.

Will you be launching GreyScale in tighter textures?
Tighter textures will always be central to our mission and this is why we made sure to include textured hair favourites Press’d & Four Ayye. Given our GreyScale gradients are achieved by lifting colour from the hair, we are currently sampling the best methods for achieving the same gradients with even tighter textures without compromising the quality of the hair.

How much do I need for a full head?

Bundles: 2 for a natural density look and 3 for a high density look

Clip ins: one set has been designed to be enough for a full head

Ponytails: one ponytail is enough for a complete look

How long will my GreyScale extensions last?

With regular use and proper care/maintenance, you can expect your GreyScale hair extensions to last between 10-12+ months.

Can I dye my GreyScale extensions?
We would advise against dyeing the hair, however, if done professionally, semi-permanent tints can be used on your GreyScale extensions to add subtle hues to the hair.

How do I maintain my GreyScale extensions?
Shampoo + Deep Condition the hair regularly before reuse or storage. Use products containing bond-building ingredients to help to maintain the quality and strength of the hair, and purple shampoo + conditioner to maintain the colour of the grey hair. Detangle and manipulate the hair gently (using texture appropriate brushes where necessary). Avoid excessive heat use on looser textures (Body Wave and Press’d) and avoid heat entirely on tighter/curly textures (Spring Fling and Four Ayye).
