How much do I need for a full head?Updated 10 months ago

Our Bundles range from 100g (The Classics) up to 140g (Natural textured extensions), and are double drawn which means that over 75% of the hairs used in each set of Ruka extensions are true to the advertised length and are more consistent in volume from top to bottom (unlike the industry standard single drawn extensions).

When shopping Natural textured extensions, we recommend 2 bundles for a standard sew-in, but you may wish to use 3 depending on how full/voluminous your desired finish.

When shopping The Classics, we recommend 2-3 bundles for a standard sew-in, and a minimum of 3 bundles + closure or frontal to create a wig.

Our Clip-ins sets range from 160 - 180g and 1 set (always a minimum of 8 pieces) is designed to cover a full head with a finger-width of leave out for a natural boost of volume. If you’re after a much fuller look though, and especially if purchasing stretched textures in 18” and above, you may want to consider getting 2 sets.

For our Tape-ins we recommend - 
1 units (approx. 100g) - Best for a natural finish, with only a slight addition of volume 
2 units (approx. 200g) - Best for a full head tape-in install 
3 units (approx. 300g) - Best for a full glam voluminous finish
